In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI), by a count of 53-38.

The Snowbirds (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI). The Cardinals go into the Ski-Valley outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Johannesburg-Lewiston defeated Bellaire (Bellaire, MI), 41-24, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Inland Lakes for a Ski-Valley outing on Friday, January 13. Central Lake will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-29 non-league win over Rogers City (Rogers City, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
