The Clarksburg Coyotes basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Northwest Jaguars to 36 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Coyotes now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Damascus for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Clarksburg will battle a Hornets team coming off a 61-22 league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
The Jaguars (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars enter the Montgomery County - 4A West contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Quince Orchard was routed by Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 44-31, in a non-league contest.
