In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons (North Highlands, CA), by a margin of 2-0.
The Scots (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies go into the Sierra Delta League outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Golden Sierra got by Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 39-26, in a league outing.
The Dragons now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to John Adams Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 12. Creative Connections Arts Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 61-40 non-league win over Pine Hills Adventist (Auburn, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-6.
