In Wednesday's league outing, the Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) basketball squad nipped the host Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA), by a margin of 20-15.

The Firebirds (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Frogs go into the Ocean outing with a 3-5 record.

The Knights now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Coastal Academy for a Ocean outing on Friday, January 13. Foothills Christian will clash with a Stingrays squad coming off a 37-17 league loss to Rock Academy (San Diego, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 5-3.
