Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host El Camino Real Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), 52-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to play the Highlanders in a West Valley bout on Friday, January 13. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Granada Hills Charter won 54-44 in their recent league bout against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA)

Next up, the Royals play the Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) in a West Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. El Camino Real will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 53-51 league win over Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA).
