The Hanover-Horton Comets (Horton, MI) basketball nipped the host Grass Lake Warriors (Grass Lake, MI), 34-29 in Wednesday's league test.

The Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Lenawee Christian was tipped by Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH), 66-40, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Addison for a Cascades test on Friday, January 13. Grass Lake will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 47-27 league loss to East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.
