The Hazel Park Vikings basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Lincoln Abes to 11 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clintondale for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Hazel Park will meet a Dragons team coming off a 53-23 non-league loss to New Haven (New Haven, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 1-7.

The Abes (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison Heights, MI). The Eagles enter the Macomb Area - Silver game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Madison routed Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI), 42-14, in a league game.
