Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 81-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Fighting Zebras host Placer (Auburn, CA) to clash with the Hillmen in a Foothill Valley bout on Friday, January 13. The Hillmen go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Placer lost 54-40 in their recent league bout against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA)

Next up, the Miners clash with the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Nevada Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 47-39 league win over Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
