In Wednesday's league outing, the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) basketball squad felled the visiting West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH), by a margin of 48-34.
The Dukes (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against McKinley (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, McKinley thwarted Hoover (North Canton, OH), 66-45, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. West Branch will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-36 league loss to Ross (Fremont, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
