Arizona High School Basketball - Mingus crushes Mohave

January 11, 2023: Cottonwood, AZ 86326

Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ), 61-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mingus upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Marauders host Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Panthers in a 4A Grand Canyon bout on Monday, January 16. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Coconino won 43-38 in their recent league bout against Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon bout, on Thursday, January 12. Mohave will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Volunteers come into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 55-32 league win over Prescott (Prescott, AZ).
