The North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) basketball knocked off the host Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), 33-23 in Wednesday's league test.

The Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers go into the 3A Far West test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Lakeview notched a victory over St. Mary's (Medford, OR), 57-14, in a league test.

The Chieftains now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West test on Friday, January 13. Rogue River will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 54-22 league win over St. Mary's (Medford, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 7-6.
