Pittsford Wildcats (Pittsford, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI), 48-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pittsford upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI) to play the Colts in a Southern Central bout on Friday, January 13. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Hillsdale Academy won 28-13 in their recent league bout against Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Litchfield Terriers (Litchfield, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Friday, January 13. Waldron will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Terriers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 56-23 league loss to Colon (Colon, MI).
