Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Reseda Regents (Reseda, CA), 59-7 in a league bout.

With the win, Sylmar upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Panorama (Panorama City, CA) to play the Pythons in a Valley Mission bout on Friday, January 13. The Pythons go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Panorama lost 71-21 in their recent league game against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA)

With the defeat, Reseda moves to 2-8 on the year. The Regents host San Fernando (San Fernando, CA) to face the Tigers in a Valley Mission game on Friday, January 13. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-3. San Fernando won 67-27 in their recent league game against Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA)
