North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury crushes West Davidson

January 11, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28144

Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), 63-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Salisbury upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout on Friday, January 13. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 10-3. North Rowan won 83-59 in their recent league bout against Lexington (Lexington, NC)

Next up, the Dragons play the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 bout, on Friday, January 13. West Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 51-33 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC).
