The Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO), 30-27 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO). The Cyclones enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Pueblo West nipped Rye (Rye, NY), 30-15, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Lancers confront the Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 60-5 non-league win over Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO).
