The Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) basketball felled the host Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), 33-21 in Wednesday's league test.
The Broncos (10-4) will now prepare for their test against American Canyon (American Canyon, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, American Canyon thwarted Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA), 65-4, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Miramonte for a test on Friday, January 13. Alhambra will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 45-24 league loss to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 2-4.
