The Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA), 71-11 in Wednesday's league test.
The Mustangs (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals go into the test with a 4-7 record.
The Pacers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a test on Tuesday, January 17. Grant will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 43-17 league loss to McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.
