In Wednesday's league outing, the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA), by a margin of 50-20.
The Miners (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers go into the outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, West Park smashed Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 47-1, in a league outing.
The Fighting Zebras now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Placer for a bout on Friday, January 13. Lincoln will play a Hillmen squad coming off a 40-34 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 2-10.
