In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Arlington Spy Ponders ice hockey team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Winchester Red & Black.
The Spy Ponders (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Rockets enter the Massachusetts Middlesex test with a 6-0 record.
Next up, the Red & Black encounter the Woburn Memorial Tanners (Woburn, MA) in a Massachusetts Middlesex test, on Saturday, January 14. Winchester will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Tanners enter the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Reading Memorial (Reading, MA).
