In Wednesday's league challenge, the Rye Country Day Wildcats (Rye, NY) ice hockey team bounced the host Kingswood Oxford Wyverns (West Hartford, CT), by a margin of 8-1.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingswood Oxford for a challenge on Saturday, February 4.
The Wyverns (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Austin Prep (Reading, MA). The Cougars enter the challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Austin Prep Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA), 2-2, in a league challenge.
