Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - La Salle Academy held off by Prout

The Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) ice hockey nipped the visiting La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI), 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Crusaders now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host North Kingstown for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Prout will play a Skippers team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 1-7.

The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Fairfield Prep was edged by Notre Dame (West Haven, CT), 6-1, in a league battle.
