Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) fans left the game thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), 6-1 in a league match.
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The enter the FCIAC match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Warde/Ludlowe Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT), 2-2, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Wreckers encounter the Newington Co-op Indians (Newington, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 18. Staples will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
