The Royal Highlanders basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Camarillo Scorpions to 58 in the Highlanders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simi Valley for a contest on Friday, January 13. Royal will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 56-55 league win over Camarillo (Camarillo, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-1.

The Scorpions (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Park (Oak Park, CA). The Eagles enter the contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Oak Park nudged Moorpark (Moorpark, CA), 65-30, in a league contest.
