The Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Dymally Challengers to 18 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Locke for a contest on Friday, January 13. Hawkins will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-46 league win over Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Saints record now stands at 1-0.
The Challengers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro, CA). The Polar Bears enter the contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Port of Los Angeles was routed by Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA), 40-17, in a league contest.
