The La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA), 56-38 in Wednesday's league test.
The Mavericks (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers go into the test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Carlsbad went down by Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 48-47, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to San Marcos for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. El Camino will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 65-49 league loss to Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.
