Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Hughson upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Ripon (Ripon, CA) to clash with the Indians in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Ripon won 57-51 in their recent league bout against Escalon (Escalon, CA)

Next up, the Bruins clash with the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Riverbank will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 36-32 league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA).
