Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ), saw Mesquite's basketball squad overcome St. Mary's by a tally of 58-49.

With the victory, Mesquite improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ) to confront the Sentinels in a challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Knights confront the Arcadia Titans (Phoenix, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
