North Carolina High School Basketball - Williams trounces Providence Grove

The Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC) basketball crushed the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), 56-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves go into the test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Cedar Ridge was trounced by Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 55-27, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Randolph for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Providence Grove will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-44 non-league loss to Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-6.
