With the victory, Gila Bend upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Gila Monsters host A+ Charter School (Maricopa, AZ) to play the Maricopa in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Maricopa come into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Skyview Huskies (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Ajo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 65-17 league loss to Harvest Prep Academy (Yuma, AZ).
