Altamont Knights (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL), 75-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Altamont upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 2A Area 8 bout on Friday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Cornerstone won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Tarrant (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Cornerstone Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 2A Area 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
