The Animo Pat Brown Gryphons basketball team (Los Angeles, CA), was overwhelmed 70-33 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting WISH Academy Owls (Los Angeles, CA)
The Owls now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Designs Watts for a Ocean battle on Tuesday, January 16. WISH Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 66-46 league loss to Animo Watts (Los Angeles, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-4.
The Gryphons (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Collins Family trounced CALS Early College (Los Angeles, CA), 52-47, in a league battle.
