Fosston Greyhounds (Fosston, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bagley Flyers (Bagley, MN), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fosston upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Blackduck (Blackduck, MN) to play the Drakes in a A Section 8 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Drakes come into the bout with a record of 3-7. Blackduck won 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN)

Next up, the Flyers play the Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bagley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Prowlers come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 51-47 league loss to Hawley (Hawley, MN).
