Texas High School Basketball - Bishop Gorman fells Yavneh Academy

Bishop Gorman Crusaders (Tyler, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Yavneh Academy Bulldogs (Dallas, TX), 79-71 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Gorman upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 3A District 2 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Coram Deo Academy won 56-55 in their recent league bout against North Dallas Adventist Academy (Richardson, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Lakehill Prep Warriors (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Yavneh Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 41-35 league win over Lucas Christian Academy (Lucas, TX).
