With the victory, Bishop McGuinness improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Villains travel to Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge on Friday, January 12. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Piedmont Classical won 73-45 in their recent league challenge against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Phoenix confront the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Friday, January 12. Winston-Salem Prep will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 75-28 league loss to College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC).
