With the victory, Brimfield upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Roanoke-Benson/Eureka (Eureka, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans play the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Elmwood will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 68-32 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL).
