Britton Deerfield Patriots (Britton, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI), 68-66 in a league bout.
With the win, Britton Deerfield upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Waldron (Waldron, MI) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Sand Creek Aggies (Sand Creek, MI) in a Tri-County bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Whiteford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Aggies go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 63-51 league loss to Erie-Mason (Erie, MI).
