The Brodhead Cardinals basketball team scored 101 points and restricted the host Whitewater Whippets to 72 in the Cardinals league victory on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delavan-Darien for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Brodhead will battle a Comets team coming off a 65-51 non-league loss to Big Foot (Walworth, WI). The Comets record now stands at 4-9.

The Whippets (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Blackhawks come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Fort Atkinson triumphed over Watertown (Watertown, WI), 59-50, in a league contest.
