Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN), 78-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Osakis upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Silverstreaks travel to Swanville (Swanville, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 3-9. Swanville won 63-53 in their recent league bout against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) in a A Section 5 test, on Friday, January 12. Browerville will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 8-0 record after their 121-38 non-league win over Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN).
