Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), 76-73 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cambridge-Isanti upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Bluejackets host Becker (Becker, MN) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Becker won 98-86 in their recent league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Chisago Lakes Area will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Thunder come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 81-53 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN).
