California High School Basketball - Castro Valley can't hold off St. Joseph Notre Dame

The St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Castro Valley Trojans to 75 in the Pilots league triumph on Thursday.
The Pilots now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill contest on Friday, January 12. St. Joseph Notre Dame will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 58-38 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-7.
The Trojans (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the West Alameda County - Foothill contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Berkeley was nudged by Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA), 60-58, in a league contest.
