Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County ripped by Chase County

The Chase County Longhorns basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Perkins County Plainsmen to 27 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Longhorns now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gothenburg for a C1 District 11 contest on Friday, January 12. Chase County will battle a Swedes team coming off a 49-38 league loss to Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Swedes record now stands at 9-3.

The Plainsmen (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Wauneta-Palisade was routed by Southwest (Bartley, NE), 50-38, in a non-league contest.
