Maryland High School Basketball - Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North edges Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South

The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD), 75-73 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Falcons go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Central was tipped by Parkdale (Riverdale, MD), 63-61, in a non-league test.

The now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to College Park Academy for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Tuesday, January 16. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South will encounter a squad coming off a 56-50 league win over Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The record now stands at 1-8.
