Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Liberty Charter Lions (Alpine, CA), 32-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Chula Vista Learning Community Charter upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Cobras travel to High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA) to play the Thunder in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 2-17. High Tech Mesa lost 38-35 in their recent non-league bout against Monarch (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the High Tech NC Raptor (San Marcos, CA) in a Sierra bout, on Thursday, January 18. Liberty Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Raptor go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 45-38 league loss to Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA).
