Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions (Athens, AL), 75-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Colbert County upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 4-13. Alcorn Central won 60-52 in their recent league bout against Belmont (Belmont, MS)

Next up, the Lions play the Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record.
