The Colonia Patriots basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans to 59 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 14. Colonia will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 58-47 league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 8-2.

The Trojans (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph was nudged by St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ), 79-58, in a non-league contest.
