The Conard Red Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Farmington River Hawks to 48 in the Red Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Wolves now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weaver for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Conard will battle a Beavers team coming off a 75-57 league win over Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 6-0.

The River Hawks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Hartford (East Hartford, CT). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, East Hartford nudged Enfield (Enfield, CT), 87-56, in a non-league contest.
