The Coosa Valley Academy Rebels basketball team (Harpersville, AL), was overwhelmed 60-34 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL)

The Lions now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornerstone Christian for a AISA A Region 1 battle on Friday, January 12. Evangel Christian Academy will confront a Chargers team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over New Hope (New Hope, AL). The Chargers record now stands at 6-8.

The Rebels (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Christian (Columbiana, AL). The Chargers come into the AISA A Region 1 battle with a 6-8 record.
