The Curry Yellowjackets basketball team (Jasper, AL), was toppled 53-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host Cordova Blue Devils (Cordova, AL)
The Blue Devils now possess a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dora for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Cordova will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-47 league win over Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
The Yellowjackets (1-17) will now prepare for their battle against Corner (Warrior, AL). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Corner was toppled by Fultondale (Birmingham, AL), 66-57, in a league battle.
