Arizona High School Basketball - Coronado fells Vista Grande

January 11, 2024: Casa Grande, AZ 85122

Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ), 48-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Coronado upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Dons host Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to play the Buffaloes in a 4A Black Canyon bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 7-12.

Next up, the Spartans play the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Vista Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Prospectors go into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 86-42 league loss to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ).
