The Dade County Wolverines basketball team (Trenton, GA), was toppled 48-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Marion County Warriors (Jasper, TN)
The Warriors now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bledsoe County for a 2A District 4 battle on Tuesday, January 16. Marion County will confront a Warriors team coming off a 65-60 league loss to Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-4.
The Wolverines (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons come into the A D1 Region 7 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Pepperell beat Coosa (Rome, GA), 56-55, in a league battle.
